Sustainability Policy
Armenia Holidays recognizes the significance of sustainability with regard to environmental, social and economic aspects in the company’s activity. The business is committed to reducing the impact of its activity both in the office and in the destinations. This is done via developing relationship with green-friendly suppliers and promoting more sustainable packages to influence our travelers’ behavior and help them make responsible choices. We have already taken a lot of steps toward sustainability and will definitely continue to monitor our progress and make improvements along the way.

Sustainability Mission
Our main mission is keeping the track of growing more serious on sustainability front by addressing more efforts on providing socially and environmentally responsible services that embraces creativity and diversity. Our main focus is on adding value to our target market segments, providing value for money services as well as developing new environmentally friendly special interest products as travel becomes more about personal interests, cultural interaction and fulfilling vacation experiences.

Reduction of Disposable and Consumable Goods
From 2012 Armenia Holidays switched to electronic version of making quotations by implementing its own online quoting system. The innovation increasingly helped to reduce paper consumption while creating professional proposals faster and generating more sales leads. Electronic email is the only way for communication with suppliers and clients, and they do not printed unless there is a real need for it. 99% of data is stored electronically instead of paper documents.

Sustainable Purchasing
Armenia Holidays encourages local production weather it is food & beverage or building materials. The company always gives the preference to products made of recycled materials or are locally produced which is both healthier and decreases the fuel transportation.

Energy Reduction Policy
The company has a clearly defined policy to reduce energy consumption which includes working by daylight when possible, setting computers to hibernate after 15 minutes of inactivity, switch off lights and unplug all office equipment when leaving the office etc. Water Use The business takes actions on regular water use measurement and statistics, implements simple conservation measures when needed by organizing brainstorming on water management.

Supporting Local Communities
The business works closely with local communities to develop community based eco-tourism in the country. This is achieved by ensuring ongoing community involvement: using BBs in almost all regions, purchasing local products and handmade accessories often made by local children, having meals in local houses/communities with locally grown food, hiring local guides etc. This on one hand gives opportunity to experience authentic rural hospitality first hand while generating additional income for the community and helping them to preserve their environment and cultural heritage.
