  • Day 1: Arrival

  • Day 2:Yerevan City tour

    Yerevan City tour

    In the morning meet your tour guide and start city tour from the Republic Square, the masterpiece of the architect Alexander Tamanian. Continue to Cascade, Victory Park, Opera House, Freedom Square and Swam Lake. Visit Tsitsernakaberd. Walking through Memorial park and museum of the victims of Genocide. Drive to Echmiadzin – the place where the only Begotten descended. Holy Echmiadzin is the whole Armenians’ spiritual center and one of the centers of Christianity all over the world. Return to Yerevan with a stop at the ruins of Zvartnots temple - the pearl of the 7th century architecture which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage. Oernight at the hotel inYerevan.

  • Day 3:Yerevan - Garni - Geghard - Sevan

    tour to Armenia and Georgia, MatenadaranDuration ~ 6-7hours/ Breakfast Only. Drive to Geghard monastery inscribed in UNESCO World Heritage list. Geghard monastery is the unsurpassable masterpiece of the 13th century Armenian architecture. Some of the churches 0 of the complex are masterfully hewn in a huge rock. The complex is rich in subtle sculptural 0 embellishments and many striking khachkars (cross-stones). Departure to Garni Temple. Garni temple which towers over a triangular cape, is the unique survived example of heathen culture in Armenia. After adopting Christianity in 301 the pagan temple lost its significance and the fortress of Garni became the summer residence of the kings. Lunch time.Departure to Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater alpine mountain lakes in the world. The beautiful landscape and the crystal water serve nice preconditions for excellent rest. Visit Sevanavank Monastery. Return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

  • Day 4:Yerevan - Khor Virap - Echmiadzin - Zvartnots

    Khor Virap, sights in ArmeniaDuration: ~5-6 hours. Breakfast only. Sightseeing tour to Khor-Virap monastery the importance of which is connected with Gregory the Illuminator, who introduced Christianity to Armenia. It is a wonderful masterpiece situated on top of a hill. The monastery looks like a castle where everybody has the hint to sit and dream while admiring the beauty of the church. The highlight is the stunning view to the biblical Mt. Ararat. Drive to Echmiadzin – the place where the only Begotten descended.   • Day 6:Tbilisi city tour

    Tbilisi city tour Early morning transfer to Sadakhlo border. Meet Georgian guide. Transfer to Tbilisi. Lunch time. This day we will explore the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. Wonder in the old districts of the city which are structured like terraces, as well as take a walk in the narrow streets to enjoy colorful houses, patterned balconies and wonderful samples of modern architecture. We will start the tour from Metekhi church (13th century) facing the magnificent views over old Tbilisi. A stroll along winding little streets takes us to the main sights of the city. Afterwards we enjoy the panoramic views of the whole town and through the ancient Narikala fortress (4th century), find ourselves in the historical domed sulphur bath area- connected with the name of our city. Overnight at a hotel in Tbilisi.

  • Day 7:Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Gelati - Kutaisi

    Mtskheta, Kutaisi, sights in Georgia Duration: ~9 hours. Breakfast & Dinner. We drive to visit the ancient capital and religious centre of Georgia – Mtskheta (3000 years old) and see its historical places: Jvari church (6th century) and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century) where the Robe of Christ is buried. Both Jvari and Svetitskhoveli are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.Lunch time. Drive to Imereti province (West Georgia), which is very different from Kartli province (East Georgia) with its cool springs, green fields and beautiful gardens. Visit the pretty town of Kutaisi, the second largest in the country (antique town more than 3000 years old) and its historical places: Gelati Cathedral (12th century, UNESCO) – one of the earliest academies in Europe, and the splendid Bagrati Cathedral (11th century). Dinner and overnight at a guesthouse in Kutaisi with private facilities.

  • Day 8:Kutaisi - Gori - Uplistsikhe - Tbilisi

    Kutaisi, Gori, sightseeing in Georgia Duration ~9 hours Breakfast & Dinner. In the morning we will drive to visit the town of Gori and its historical place: Uplistsikhe Cave Town (1st millennium BC). Uplistsikhe is the place where the Great Silk Road used to pass. This is an old and interesting complex with dwelling quarters, wine-cellars, bakeries, a three-nave basilica church hewn out in rock and even an antic theatre. Photo Stop at Iosiph Stalin`s house. Lunch time. Afterwards drive back to Tbilisi. Overnight at a hotel in Tbilisi.

  • Day 9:Tbilisi free day. Additional optional tours

  • Day 10:Departure
